Great Job Card

Hello all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. This morning is the start of another challenge at Created With Love Challenges. This week the theme is Back to School and our sponsor is DigiDarla Designs. My card was made using the Back To School Word Art digital stamp by DigiDarla and the design came from last weeks Freshly Made Sketch challenge. I utilized my scrap stash to make this Great Job Card and I colored the image with Crayola colored pencils. Using Crayola pencils just seemed the thing to do for a Back to School themed card. I hope you will join us and play along this week. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

White Season's Greetings Card

Good afternoon! I took this weeks challenge at CASology and created a WHITE card. I have to say this is a first for me and I'm not sure how I feel about the results. I enhanced this White Season's Greeting Card by using vellum and white glitter paper cut with the Cricut machine. I used the Christmas/Noel Cricut cartridge for the snowflakes and Season's Greetings sentiment. I do think this card is prettier in person. The white sparkle of the glitter paper doesn't really show in the photo.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and enjoy your day!

Each week Halloween gets closer. This evening I came across a color challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges and there was only a little over an hour left to enter the challenge. At that point the challenge was whether I could complete a card in that time frame and post it to my blog. For those who know me, they know speed is not my strong point. I tend to be a VERY slow crafter. Thank goodness the colors were purple, orange and green because I have plenty of paper with those colors. Simple Things Card

It's hard to believe that September first is here. I really don't know where August went. Nothing eventful happened and our weather here in Oklahoma was decent compared to the awful July we had. Moving onward and getting closer to the holidays, I guess it's time to start Christmas shopping! There is 114 shopping days left, just in case you wanted to know. My motto this year is to keep things simple.

Okay, enough of my rambling..... onto the card. This Simple Things Card was made using this weeks Freshly Made Sketch by Lesly Croghan. I really love the classic simplicity of this sketch. I know I will be using it again.

Simple Things Card Supplies:
